Talbot Water Supply Booster Pump Station – Construction of Pump Station and Electrical Services
Client: Central Highlands Water Completed: June 2009
Works Completed:
Measurement of the works and the preparation of shop drawings for all pipework, pumpsets and electrical equipment;
Removal of the existing pump station and pipe work
Construction of civil and site works associated with an above ground booster pump station utilizing ductile iron pipes, including all necessary temporary works;
Supply and installation of new pump sets and pipe work to the limits shown on the Drawings, to connect to the existing incoming and outgoing mains;
Electrical Power, Instrumentation and Control works including:
Design, manufacture, factory test, deliver and install the pump station main switchboard and pump control gear;
Supply and install the consumer mains cables from the Powercor point of supply to the new main switchboard;
Supply and install a standby generator with the specified noise attenuating enclosure;
Provide the pump controller, develop the pump control software and provide overall control system integration;
Supply and install the SCADA communications radio equipment Factory test the switchboards and pump control system prior to construction on site;
Test and commission each pump control and monitoring system at the completion of construction and hand-over the completed system in the specified operating condition;
Provide As-Constructed drawings of the electrical installation and pump control system;
Provide content to the Operations and Maintenance Manuals for the electrical installation and pump control system;
