Works Completed:
Remove existing Cooling Tower 1 and Cooling Tower 2 and sumps;
Construct new support frames and footings for cooling tower sumps;
Install new sump for Cooling Tower 1 on top of new support frame;
Install existing sump for Cooling Tower 2 on top of new support frame;
Reinstall both cooling towers on top of sumps and re-orientate Cooling Tower 1;
Construct new splash guarding for Cooling Tower 1;
Install associated inlet and outlet pipes, valves, scour pipes and fittings; and Construct access platforms for the cooling towers.
Decommission existing 18.5 kW and 11 kW transfer pumps; and
Remove all other redundant equipment outlined in this specification.
Remove redundant 132 kW high lift pump, wiring and labelling;
Install delivery pipework from the pressure relief valve adjacent to the high lift pump station to Clearwater Storage Tank 1;
Extend the high lift pump station suction pipe to connect to the outlet of Clearwater Storage Tank 1 Remove the existing monorail beam.
