We’ve got a great team here at Aeramix, made up of a diverse range of technical experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Each of Aeramix’s specialised services are led by an expert in the field and each service is supported by a skilled and flexible field crew. Our team prides itself on co-operation, open communication and knowledge sharing.

Cole Harvey

Name: Cole Harvey

Role: CEO / Director

Cole is a passionate, hands-­on leader that has led many successful business growth strategies for Aeramix since being appointed CEO in 2011. Cole’s experience extends across a wide spectrum of mechanical, electrical and construction based projects. Cole brings 15 years experience in pump stations and mechanical installations within the water industry and experience from the commercial roofing and commercial building industries. He also has vast knowledge on inner city high­rise buildings where he supervised a large number of contractors on demanding job sites.

Robert Hillgrove

Name: Robert Hillgrove

Role: IMS Manager & Director

Robert can be described in one word ­meticulous; the perfect quality for his role as Integrated Management System (IMS) Manager. Robert is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with superior knowledge of hydraulics, pumping and irrigation systems plus experience in the integration of turnkey systems. He has many years’ experience project managing the design of pumping and hydraulic installations and industrial systems. Robert ensures Aeramix is always at the leading edge and is able to deliver projects to the highest standards due to continuous improvements to our systems and processes.

Nick Lauricella

Name: Nick Lauricella

Role: Senior Project Delivery Manager

Nick has the ability to adapt to different work environments, with excellent problem solving and communication skills including conflict resolution. Nick has a strong work ethic and strives for excellence in every aspect of his projects from safety, environment and to quality.

Nick has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) and joined Aeramix in 2013, his experience & background includes a wide variety of roles in Civil, Rail and Building for Tier 1 construction. His roles have varied from greenfields to complex brownfields projects, and from Australian Defence Force buildings, to working in Australia’s busiest rail precinct.

Michael Sewell

Name: Michael Sewell

Role: Manager Geosynthetics

Michael has tremendous interpersonal skills which is a plus when needing to communicate with contractors, project managers and clients across various high pressure project sites. Michael joined the Aeramix in 2010 to lead the on­site activities of the then, HDPE Liner Division.

Since joining he has gained valuable experience across a wide spectrum of mechanical, electrical and construction projects. Michael is a Certified CQA Geosynthetic Materials and Compacted Clay Liner Inspector. This is an internationally ­recognised quality assurance certification that’s highly sought after in the liner industry. We’re lucky to have Michael as part of our team. His qualifications and experience make him one of Australia’s leading geomembrane technicians.

Mark Samblebe

Name: Mark Samblebe

Role: Manager Technical Services and Innovation

Mark’s skills and ability to identify, investigate and implement process improvements is exemplary. His understanding of water and wastewater processes combines both theoretical and significant practical hands on experience where his capacity to identify appropriate technologies then test and assess them for suitability has delivered numerous cost effective solutions in both strategic and emergency response situations. One of his many career highlights was being awarded the prestigious Water Industry Hepburn Prize in 2007, for the temporary conversion of a swimming pool into a water treatment plant when bushfires and floods decimated water quality for the small community of Licola in Victoria. Mark brings 20 years experience in the water, wastewater and waste management industries plus he has experience in the management of solid and liquid organic waste processing. With an impressive skills set Mark and his team won two Queensland Water Directorates’ Excellence Awards in 2015 for projects in Northern Queensland. Mark is also an elected committee member for the Water Industry Operators Association of Australia.

Jon-Paul Marrow

Name: Jon-Paul Marrow

Role: Manager Structural Protection

Jon-­Paul holds certification in Construction & Civil Engineering Services­ (Concrete repair) and has been in the concrete repair and protection industry for over 20 years. What JP doesn’t know about concrete repair just isn’t worth knowing. His experience and background includes positions as site manager and contracts manager of multimillion dollar contracts and managing director of his own specialist concrete repair and protection company. Jon-­Paul has worked with many of the leading manufacturers such as Sika, Fosroc, BASF, DOW, Tremco, International
Paint, Hyperlast, 3M, Tam International and Flexcrete. In more recent years Jon-­Paul worked for International Paint Limited (part of the Akzo Nobel Group) across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia, to help promote and train internal and external customers in the use and application of specialist materials.

Evan Beattie

Name: Evan Beattie CPA

Role: Finance Manager

Evan graduated with a Double Degree in Business and Commerce majoring in Management and Accounting. Following his time gaining valuable experience working in professional services firms of KPMG and Deloitte, Evan joined the construction industry. A member of CPA Australia, Evan is a great communicator, maintaining excellent relationships with clients and colleagues. He is always up for a challenge, responding to changing business needs and opportunities.
