Much of Australia has been suffering through extreme weather conditions this summer and Tasmania seems to have copped the brunt of it. Unusually Tasmania has had to battle fire and flood emergencies at the same time. Our thoughts go out to those in Tassie who have been affected.
Our Tasmanian regional office will soon see an influx of Aeramix staff as we commence work with our joint venture partner Geo-Tas. We have just been awarded our single biggest project to date in Rosebery Tasmania. This joint venture with alliance partner Geo-Tas is part of a major mine extension worth $35 million. Works are planned to occur over the next ten months and the project involves 600,000m2 of various geomembranes.
Well done to the team at Geo-Tas led by Chris Hume and Craig Haremza plus our own Michael Sewell and Robert Hillgrove for their impressive work in winning this project. Let’s hope our joint team is treated to more typical Tassie weather during their visit.
